So my DS is 4 year old. Won't start. Towed to LR garage.

They can't identify the fault and have asked Landrover Technical Assistance for help.

I am freaking out. What if they can't fix it?

Its just out of warranty and they have already said its over £600 for diagnostic fees and investigations.
They apparently have no courtesy cars either.

Any advice?
Anyone had this problem?

I would argue any warranty period is irrelevant. If the car has been looked after and serviced properly and I'm guessing no stored error codes then I'd be carefully checking your consumer rights.
Yes, I am waiting to hear back what they advise from Landrover Technical Assistance. I mean surely a 4 year old car just doesn't stop working one day and they have no idea why?! The investigative tests were supposed to be 3 hour long hence the £375 fee (and that was after the diagnostics check at £175).
We had it towed specifically to a LR garage as they are the supposed experts.

They've seen you're an easy target to help pay for theirexpensiveshowrooms.
It takes literally 10 minutes using JLR SDD (LR dealer diagnostic equipment) to run a full systems diagnostic on these vehicles.
I know I have the dealer diagnostic kit.
As for 3 hours to do the investigation, that's 2 hours too long.
Take it to someone that knows what they are doing.

+1, on all the above. Scary, but main stealers are..

Absolutely definitely take it to someone who knows what they’re doing.

And once you've found it, go back to the original stealers with proff from the garage that found the fault and demand your money back as the sods should have been able to do it.

If no luck I'd go "small claims" but then I am a devil for consumer law issues.
Best of luck.:):):)
