I've got a Tartarini LPG system on my 1995 4.0 Range Rover P38, I only just bought the car recently so I have no idea what's wrong with it or who installed it or if it's ever been serviced.

When switching to LPG when the car is warm the light flashes and when the LPG light goes solid the car just stalls presumably it's not getting any fuel. The fuel indicator for the LPG tank shows it's got enough in.

Under the bonnet I can't see anything wrong apart from one hose going to some part of the LPG system that has a screw in the end of it (pictures attached). Does anyone have any ideas where that pipe might go to? Perhaps the spare hose connector on one of the other photos (or what else could go there?)

No idea about LPG systems so any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Jack.

No it didn't work when I bought it and the seller told me that. The seller said it already had some LPG in though and the lights show it's not empty.

I was just wondering if there was anything simple I could check to see why it's not working before taking it to someone else.

Hi matey the 6ml black pipe "as your picture "goes onto the short inlet metal pipe ."as your second picture shows " this is the actuator that once has reached a certain temperature changes it over onto gas ....i.e. All lpg cars start on petrol till temp achieves the switch over ,, get yourself a new filter for the lpg and it should run a whole lot better .!!!!! Alternativly find a top lpg service agent to give it a good service with new filter and re-set trims this should only cost you about £50- 65 quid anymore an there at it !!!! If you need any help p.m. Me an il give you my no ,,cheers mozz
