Well I collected me soft dash RRC LPG machine on Friday, and first impression is it is very sound mechanically apart from a couple of minor things, stearing damper is on it's way out, and the advisory notice from the MOT about the brakes, well, very lenient - I've had failures for brakes in far better condition than that...
Anyway, starts on Petrol and switches over to gas almost immediately, and runs sweet as a nut. Engine is nice and tight, K&N and tubular exhausts on an RPI Engineering 3.9, goes like stink. Just been over to Hull (thanks for the coffee Mr Grunt) and filled up at the cheap LPG station in Long Riston - only managed to get £24 in, working out at about 15mpg, but not bad since most of the mileage has been round town since I got it and a nice 75-80 blast across the 62 this morning. Will give more detailed costs per mile and equivalents in Diesel MPG later...
