ok so my truck has had a lift at some point in its life using a terrafirma kit. I'm not sure how hight but id guess at 2" you might be able to tell from my profile pic?

Anyway, I'm not a huge fan of lifts and the guy who did it didn't add castor corrected radius arms so the steering geometry is off.

Can i just buy stock springs? or do i need something else. any idea on what springs i need? blah blah.

i thought about lowering below stock but figure id have a castor issue the other way.
 
Make sure you buy the correct spring rates, I put stock HD springs on mine, ride height is spot on.
 
You may need standard dampers depending how you plan to use it. They limit the maximum articulation and stop the rear springs from dislocating if you are planning to go off roading. For normal road use your current +2 ones will do (assuming they were fitted with the springs) .
