lower swivels

Hi all
Well been throught the swivel bearing rebuild in my p/s. Replaced bearings seals and top pin but stll theres play when i lift the wheel im guessing lower pin wear?

I know i should of cahnged it while i was in there but can i slip a new pin in or do i have to take it all apart again?

Did you set the swivel preload with the shims on the top pin, if that is correct there shouldn't be any vertical movement.

as above, lower pin doesnt wear but bearing can ,you dont need to remove lower pin ever to work on the swivel including swapping lower bearingif you adjust by removing shims if bearings worn you should feel it as a less than smooth travel of swivel when pulled lock to lock by hand

Yea put in the spacers still movement! All bearings where changed!. Just telised i might not have put the railko bearing in so hopefully that will sort it!

If you have left the railko out then you couldn't have set the preload?
