Ever since blowing the pipe off the back of the head my 300 has squeaked (if that is the correct description) from the engine area when under load from just above tickover, it's not a fanbelt sound and it can't be prop as it's rev related squeaks rather than ratio related, I've changed water pump as this was an ongoing concern, idler pullys don't seem to run rough, I am looking to change turbo due to oil loss through it and am going to replace lift pump too........ Not long had clutch replaced although 'thrust bearing rattle' has returned after not many miles that's about it

what pipe blew off ,heater pipe? turbos do pass oil and allways look worse than they are ,are you having very noticeable oil consumption ?does clutch rattle on idle but go away with raising revs or pressing pedal, run engine with belt off to eliminate ancillaries and idlers on front

Heater pipe split whilst towing so needle was heading up abit, there is significant play on all axis in the turbo I was given a good one with fannymold gaskets so it a no brainer yes it does disappear and once I fill up with fuel I was gonna try belt hopefully today or tomorrow (it's empty and currently towing cattle in the td5 , hope these answers help

Oh and fitted new t'stat too
