Hello All.
Im from the West Sussex area and Im thinking of a Land Rover based van.
The freelander commercial seems a good buy at around 4k for a second hand one.

All the reliabilty murmurs are a concern though. I also run a SEAT leon thats modified and own diagnosis software, so mafs, coil packs and sensors playing up are not new to me.

Can you download similar software for the freelander?
I cant find details of the commercials internal dimensions or spec as the MK1 only details on the main site cover the MK2.

If anyone can answer the above I will be very grateful.

Are there any threads that cover issues on the TD4? There doesnt seem much about any specific problems?

Hope to learn lots.
Pat

I have looked, theres no specific td4 section. I know i could read every single thread and hope some of it applies but I was hoping theres a specific thread telling all? No matter.

Why a 110?

It wont have lots of off road use but will get farm tracks, dirt tracks and the odd jaunt into a field. Idea behind the freelander was 4x4 practability, higher load floor but also good looks image wise. Its a company van afterall.
Not saying the others are nasty so dont start.

So why a 110?

Thanks for the hugely warm welcome :D

A 110 will carry more than just a few boxes of sex toys....AKA the gaylander.

110 has better off road ability and wont get stuck on a soggy tampax or ground out on a 4inch kerb.

Wind ya neck in! If you dont know the engine, its issues, youve naff all to search for. Other car forums often run stickys based on what to look out for and I havnt found any.

If youd like to give my a list of known issues be my guest. But you can keep the ****.
