I've just bought a burnt out 101 and will be rebuilding it over the next few months (I think we all know that'll be years but me missus wouldn't let me put it on the drive unless it was done by xmas!)

I'd like to fit ABS but don't know whether to retro fit or replace axles from a newer vehicle.

Never tried anything like this before but the will is strong!:D

Good luck, but be careful, during exposure to high temperatures such as fires certain elastomers can release Hydrogen Fluoride which is readily absorbed by water to make Hydrofluoric acid.Rubber gloves and eye protection should be worn when your ripping out all the black charred stuff. :)

Thanks fer me welcome. Treworgey, I'm in Newquay; Gramor, thanks for the fire safety thing; and Busterbus; what the bejeezus is a fettle?!?

I suppose I could be in fine fettle, in which case I've a vague idea of what fettle may be describing.
My fettle would be fine, thanks for asking.
