Hi everyone I managed to move my s3 lightweight to where I work however about 2 miles away there was a click within the bulkhead and I lost all electrics batteries ok fuses in the steering column ok could it be the terminal block on the bulkhead or something else any ideas? Please help!

I had same problem in my 1975 series three and it turned out to be bad connection on the back of the ignition switch

Thanks for the replies using jumpleads I bypassed the solenoid and turned the starter motor over so it's the solenoid right?wouldnt I still have lights or hazard flashers etc if the solenoid was knackered

battery lead goes to solenoid ,wires from that go to ignition switch /fuses etc ,solenoid is only activated when you turn ignition switch to start ,so you need to check live to solenoid ,then live to ignition switch/fuses etc

Hi everyone I've checked earth to solenoid it's ok even with no ignition on how many earths are there something went click behind the instroment panel sidelights were on when we lost electrics is there a fuse somewhere I don't know about?

Well I ve managed to turn her over with a lead from the battery staight to the coil so it can't be the coil it also turns over with a lead from the battery to the ignition barrel so i i will have to go back thru a the wires must be a break somewhere
