Loss Of Power Centre Console

Intermittently and getting worse is the sudden loss at the start or during a journey of all functions in the centre console ie: HEVAC, heated seats, parking sensors, everything in this panel bar the air susp. No warning lights. For no apparent reason, it will all start working again, either on its own or after switching engine off then back on but not always. Can anyone advise ?

I just cant believe how this problem has become a really bad situation.

After conceding that this wasnt something I was going to be able to fix DIY nor even a job for the local garage, I decided to bite the bullit and give it to a well known main LR dealer in Glasgow to diagnose and repair.

That was 3 weeks ago. The car is still in the dealers, all the functions in the centre panel stop working as soon as the car moves from stationary. And only one of the bulbs in the o/s rear light is lit ( not sure if its related ) I dont know exactly what the dealer has tried as I only get to speak to service advisor's not mechanics although I gather they have replaced lights, light modules, another module I dont remember the name, and had contracted out autosparks look at it.

What shocks me is that the "service advisor" has ruined my confidence in my car and their ability by telling me tonight that after 3 weeks, they cant fix it and we will have to take the car somewhere else. WHAT !

I am speechless and totally at a loss on what to do next.

What do you expect from a main dealer - they do services and car cleaning only - try a specialist land rover non dealer garage locally - there must be one. At least you have not been charged have you.

Hope they ain't gonna feck you on the price....

Has to be a loose connection or as Fanny says, a dodgy earth path...

No bill as yet. I have written to LR to complain but not sure what will come of it.

Just look for corroded connectors in all the electronics in the rear quarter. Odds on it's all soaking wet.

As above I also remember reading that the A pillars can let in the wet stuff affecting connections in the left n right kick panels.
