My 05 vogue is accelerating up to a speed and then feels like it meets some kind of resistance which I can only describe as feeling like when you drive at speed into a significant sized puddle and the vehicle refuses to increase speed. This has got worse rapidly over last 40 miles and is spluttering a lot too. Is this fuel pump, sensor, filter or something completely different. Can someone please help me, I'm clueless...
Thanks in advance.

Sounds to me like you are hitting the rev limiter and it's not changing gear?
What rpm does the rev counter show when this happens?

It says so on his info. ;);)
How tiresome to have to click name, go to profile page, click info, start reading.....

Why cant peeps read you sticky post at the head of the forum and put basic vehicle information in the post.....urrgghhh....

Anyhow, The in line pump on the side of the fuel tank are known to fail on the diesel models causing lack of power.

Also they are known to blow off their turbo hoses so check those for security too.

Must be. No-one's seen him.
Oh so very much in charge now....

She turned 3 in May and has really begun to explore her own personality which is awesome, but also now she is becoming aware of her own sense of self - she is a little madam with it!!! Still annoyingly adorable though!

Life has continued apace, and with work ramping up in my new position and we are beginning to win new work, my schedule is getting fuller, hence why there has been little activity from me over the last few weeks/couple of months.

That and having to swap out the Transfer box on the '88 110, selling the '91 Defender 110, buying a temp car for a few weeks while we figure out what the hell to do, then buying a replacement car to replace the sold one....and agonising over the reliability of another Range Rover - which I have little time now to attend to its 'hissy fits' and the '88 110 keeps me busy at times - so we went for another 7'er BMW thinking that it will be a tad more reliable than another Range Rover, I am still able to fix it and have the diagnostic software for it, and is fast, comfortable and spacious!

But by heck do I miss a Range Rover sitting on the drive!

Will upload a piccie of Summer in due course for you all to go 'ahhhhhh....' at.

Noooooooo!

Sanity restored(?).
Had to sell the '91 Defender 110 - Chassis was fecked....had to go, not even my extensive bodge welding could weld a split in half chassis back together in the time, space and cost constraints I was faced with, so it was sold to someone who had a new Richards Galv chassis and needed a decent body and mechanicals to go on to it!
