Hello all
I got my beloved Disco back after having the master slave cylinder replaced and the steering is very loose and i can hear somethin "clunking" I cannot see anything immediately obvious but I got the work done in Rochdale where i bought the garage and travelled home along the motorway to Liverpool and although it seemed a little light it wasnt overly worrying me, I have just taken it for a short drive and it was a nightmare going in straight lines it is fine but turning there is lots of play and if I go over a speed bump I am having to do a frenzied correcting session.
Any ideas?

the local garage have said that there is fluid coming out of the steering box so I am taking it to the local land rover specialist today and wait to hear the bad news. The guys there thinks it may just be the seals or the pipes.

I know steering boxes go on disco's, but I am awfully suspicious if it has gone into the garage and it was fine to come out the garage and suddenly the steering box has gone... How suspiciously odd. Sounds like a case for columbo! Not that I am alleging anything o course!!!!

unless leak is really bad it unusual for this to effect steering is res full passenger wing? still look under footwell on inside and outside

had a terrifying drive there but got it to the land rover garage today and the power steering resevoir was extremely over filled hence why it looks like a leak
but the rear driver side trailing arm has snapped, the garage thinks this was done while the disco was on the ramp but the garage where i got the work done insist it was a platform ramp

first of all cant believe i never checked the levels and second a snapped bloody arm what the hell was I on? tbh was more concerenced with under the bonnet but still...

well we did say check under bonnet would be first point of call if someones been working in there,i would probably agree if arm snapped just behing triangle bush in chassis mount as thats were legs on 2 post ramp go easily

well both trailing arms and bushes were replaced at the back but its still not driving ...right... maybe it was on its way out for a while and I was accostomed to it or something ... i dont know. it also has an oil leak thats making things difficult to identify..
apart from this its in fantastic nick :) honestly...

thanks for all of the help though.
