Just posted on the other thread - that looks fantastic, mate. So what have you done? Full list please.
Stripped everything I could off the outside. Primed and bare bits and the cross member (galv) Many days of rubbing down, many hours of masking up then many more hours of rolling paint on.
After every 2 coats I wet sanded. 8 coats in total.
Really chuffed with it, once its had a chance to properly dry (few weeks) and when its warm ill wetsand again with 1500 grit then buff it all up……if i can be arsed.
When putting stuff back on i replaced every screw, bolt and nut with a stainless version.
Busy few weeks...

paint used was rustoleum ordered from here - Paint Rust-Oleum » metal paints, floor painting, flat roofs, non slip flooring, anti slip floor, cladding materials
stumbled across this - Rickwrench, Alfa GTV, Falcon Squire, Corvair
pretty much did as that guy recommended.
Seemed strange thinning down to 55%paint 45% thinner but it worked a treat.

You're the first person on here that I've seen use Rustoleum - that's been my plan since I read this thread last year some time. Glad it really does come out that good - will definitely be starting mine in a month or so (once the weather improves I can use my bike for work and the Landy can rest easy for a bit!)
After looking at the tread you mention im definitely going to flatten back and buff it all up once its had chance to properly dry. looks very smart!

You'll do yours easy with 1 - 1.1/2 lirs Paul. Did my truckcab with 1ltr..foam roller and small brush.
