Hi All,
I'm still new to this so please be gentle with me.
At the weekend i'll be looking at a T reg 1999 D2 TD5 with 118,000 miles on it with a full service history and all receipts from the last 10 years. It's going for £2,400.
My question is, does that sound reasonable?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for that Neilly,
I had a look on line at the garage he's been using and they seem pretty good but just need to have a good look at it on saturday and see it in the flesh.
it sounds like low milage to me for that price.

Hi

I would recommend using the check list, anything you meed to know ask on here.

Research the vehicle history and mot hostory on the . Gov websites

Cheers

Go into your decision with your eyes wide open. At that mileage and allowing for good servicing it will inevitably have issues. Accept that you will have these and will be able to deal with them and you will enjoy it. It gets to a stage that mileage is irrelevant it's the care and maintenance that's the issue/ challenge/ satisfaction. And there will be times when you have a right downer on WTF did you buy it. When that time happens remember why you bought it- go for it.

Thanks John,
It sounds like I'll need to become a mechanic over night!
well I've always liked a challenge.
Thanks for all your help and advice gentleman.
