Anyone know which brand/make/model the rock sliders are in the photo? They have round jack points and no nerf step etc.

Those look like the ones. Not really worried about the stickers etc. just the jacking points. The ones for the 110 from Terra Firma don't have jack points while the ones for the 90 and 130 do. Can't understand why they would miss out one size LR on the design. Anyway, thanks for the info - just have to get them shipped out to Cayman now.

Well that doesn't sound too good. When I get the timing right (6 hours behind right now) I will give them a call and verify. Thanks for the note.

Other problem I can see is that jacking the body means it has to go very high to get a wheel off the ground.

Shifty, do you mind telling me what you or someone you know uses that has worked out well? Cost aside, I am on the fence here as to what the most easily stored, cost effective and effective use jack would be.
Thanks.

I use a mechanical bottle jack made by .........

NISSAN !!!!!

...... and found at my local scrappy for a fiver. Came off one of them Cabstar pick up trucks and does the job perfick. It was virtually brand new. When closed its about 8" high and 6" round. It has a large 4" cup which fits neatly under the diff casing.

It fits neatly between the seat and bulkhead and lifts to about 18" at full stretch. Being mechanical (screw thread) rather than hydraulic it does not leak oil everywhere when on its side and no seals to blow and it wont let lower itself while you are underneath the motor.

The standard LR jack is in my shed and has never been used. I'd rather use a proper high lift jack.
