Well should have been here latish tonight. but the Couriers broke down. long story.
Anyway they contacted the seller to tell him they were booking Bed and Breakfast near him to pick up in the morning. Turns out he runs his own farmhouse Bed and Breakfast so they are stopping there and leaving first thing tomorrow morning.
Better for me really as they will arrive in daylight.
Will keep you informed.as to weather I've bought something Decent or a pile of Scrap:D

Hope that’s not an omen! Well, we know it’s an omen, the Landy’s guaranteed to break down at some point!

Well Its here, Well some of it Anyway. Courier turned up ok to pick up but when he saw how much there was he could only bring so much there is 3 full 2 meter by 1 by 1 high crates full of other parts, he is going to try and get them one day next week.,
.How much more bad luck can I have with this one, he got stuck in my garden, we had to let it drop it off the trailer and it nearly went through the dogs pen, had to tow him out with my Hilux:rolleyes:
Ive got the Chassis ,and some body panels, Did not really have a chance to have a good look as it was getting dark but the chassis looks good apart from the rear but there is Brand new one here with it. engine and gearbox look good, front axle looks like it has been rebuilt. new springs shocks arms etc, will have to start on the rear one. the wings and sides are really solid, much better then I thought they would be, if the rest of bits when they come are as good as these then ill be pleased. The courier is a bit of a Landy Man and he says from what he has seen its well worth it, recons I could get my money back on panels alone.
Anyway lets hope my luck turns for a change, will take photos of the bits Ive got and post then tomorrow.

That sounds tremendous! It's looking increasing like you've got a cracking deal there. Well done, marra. :)

Apart from the Bad Luck and stress ive gone thorough think I deserve it. :)
It was always going to be a bit tricky transporting an unknown quantity that far. When I dismantled mine it filled the garage, the dining room, the study and half of the conservatory. It took up a lot of space, so very easily underestimated when arranging transport. I think you've had a lot of bottle to go for it and it's paid off. Job well done, I reckon. :)

Thanks, Now for the really hard bit, to be honest I don't know where to start. But know theres plenty of help from here.
Forgot to mention the Bulkhead that came with it is really sold, no rust or holes, the courier says there is another one too in one of the crates.

Two bulkheads, that's interesting. If you got a solid one, I would be getting it galvanised. All decisions you have to make though. You'll want to check it's right for a 1987 110 first though, or that it will fit ok or with modifications that you can do. The PO might have bought a newer bulkhead. If you post pictures of it, members will be able to ID it.

Had a better look in the daylight. still pleased with it. There is a couple of repairs to do on the Bulkhead but nothing major it is still in very good condition. It is only held onto chassis with cable ties and bayling twine
Panels are really good just need a good clean, Front axle looks to be good, rear needs looking at.
Still waiting of 3 full crates of parts to come.
Sorry for all the photos

Looking good, mate. I'm a man that likes a plan. Is one emerging yet?
Have not got a clue where to start, cant really afford to go out and spend on new parts, just as and when I can afford, would really like to Galvanise chassis, but think this one might be a keeper if cleaned and rust proofed.
Also need to finish my workshop come allotment shed :) off first, think it needs an extension to fit the thing in then some work benches along the back wall. then a decent Generator.
Can the rear crossmember be welded on bare chassis, ??Ive been told its best to fit the tub on first to get things lined up.

You'll certainly need to get the chassis rails prepped with the new crossmember slotted on, then lay the tub on to get the correct fit. Or, rely on very accurate measurements!
