thinking of fitting one in me 1971 rrc to replace the 4hp24eh
what i need to know is ...the bellhousing from a 4hp will it fit the 5hp?and torque converter...will 5hp one fit the p38 flexiplate and fit in the 4hp bellhousing?(if that fits)
you see i dont think there is a 5hp bellhousing to fit the rv8, so need to use 4hp??and hense will things fit?
next..the output end..is the 5hp (l322)the same as the p38 4hp ?
ie i have adapted the p38 zf 4hp to fit the lt230..but will i be able to do the same with the 5hp? if physically the same (same output extension case) then no problem...(ie disc cutter and drill and tap)
my gearbox ecu i have made will control upto 8 gears, seems a waste to use just 4..
