its not really that simple mate.

nobody knows that youre not gonna be a McTool Sandwich and take 7 mates with you with boggers on and go and rip up some farmers field next to a lane someone told you about.

if you want to go laning (which i fully recommend) then you need to get involved with either a group trip off landyzone or a local club that does laning trips etc.

green lanes nationwide are at risk of closure all the time and tbh the fewer people that know about them the better. it seems harsh but, well, its true.

A good point. I am in a club and we do follow Crag and Glass and we try to keep to the recommended amounts of vehicles or split into groups and go different routes. We also get involved in repairs to the lanes. We use certain lanes around Llangollen, Strata and the peaks. I was hoping to pick up lanes closer to home as an addition to out library. I know we need to keep them Muppet free etc. I just hoped we could share info from one to an other. Many thanks rgds. John.

Hi Rik. Yes I have joined Landy watch. We need to sort out a link for you on the club website. Send me some logo's over. I would rather people where cautious with Lane info to prevent us loosing any more. I remember quite a few we were able to do, but no longer due to our muppet friends and plastic scaly illegal off-roaders. I'll get off me soap box before I start as you know it annoys me lots. Please inform Gail I have her umbrella from the show. Can you send me your number in PM I lost quite a few when I broke my phone. Lanes wise I was thinking either Ruthin (Moel Famu/Ewan) what's left that is or kirby Lonsdale/Garstang. I believe the lane clearing in Abersoch went well. Do you wish to come out Saturday. Do you have any lane ideas ? Give me a bell. John.

When I read your 1st post I immediately thought "chancing muppet" so to get all the way through and then read the other one i've quoted and Riks comments I must say I was surprised.

Perhaps you should have started with the later post?
 
I probably should have. I do not come on here often and I have noticed there are a few more & new members on here than when I last frequented. I thought some of the older members who I have conversed with in the past would have replied. I must also admit I do enjoy engaging in some of the wind ups and lay a goad for some of them. Apologies.
