looking for a lift kit can anyone help??

looking for a 40mm lift kit can anyone help?? would appreciate any help thanks

look on ebay or type lift kits into your header bar but you will have to do a bit of work on he brake flexi hoses and cut a bit out on the inner wings to fit them and also you need new camber bolts hope this helps

not really thanks though lol i was hoping for maybe help with fabrication companies or stockists. I wouldn't fit the cheap **** on eBay.

SES88 [Simon] makes lift kits in a variety of heights. Those on here who've bought from him have been impressed with the quality. He has made other things as well. You could PM him and see if there are any in stock.

Are you wanting to increase your ground clearance?

You do realise that ebay don't actually make them.... and that it is a place for fabrication shops to maybe sell stuff they make?

I have an unused SES88 kit plus camber bolts here that I am never likely to fit. Make me a reasonable offer. Bear in Mind I am in France so postage will be a little higher.

I read somewhere that the 50mm lift kit requires longer brakes hoses, camber bolts, wing trimming etc. But that 40mm and below just requires the inner wing trimming. Do you know if thats true by any chance?

Well aware of that mate but again I've looked and the ones that were listed on there were ****, cheap, badly made and gave heard reports from them failing.

If I were you I'd take up dave21478 on his offer.

I got it from dave mate, great deal and very much appreciated.

Anyone know of the grade of steel used and the thickness of the metal used to make these? Can't find any going cheaply (under £90) so was looking at just buying the metal sheets and fabricating them myself in the shed with a welder and a grinder. Local metal place quoted £15 for 8 pieces of 150x150 5mm steel plates in basic sheet steel. No idea on the grades/strength though.

^^^^ Thats what I initially thought - its only metal, they are easy enough to fabricate. But the amount of ****ing about, cutting, welding etc.....to say nothing of having to remove the shocks beforehand to find the correct sizes and bolt placement.... Life is too short so I just paid up for a set.
And never even fitted them either.
