the cost keeps rising!!!

Well in all fairness to Mr. W it can't be cheap doing this, getting prototypes build is not done for nothing. Plus all the hours of time he has put into it.

Mind you there is a point in time that the overall cost of ownership becomes pointless if you have to factor in the cost of a laptop as you may well be cheaper buying a BlackBox solution, and it's a lot easier to leave in the boot!

I do suspect myself that the price will rise and as Datatek said there may well be a long wait if past history is anything to go by. However what I do hope is that the software takes screen size and resolution in to consideration. I have a 10" netbook that I could use but imagine how much of a ball ache it would be if you had to pan the screen to see everything you needed.

Imagine how slow and frustrating it will be waiting for your Vista/Windows 7 computer to get it's arse into gear before you can start doing anything.

my win 7 computer starts fine!!!!! netbook and desktop!!!!
plus you can obtain stripped versions, i'm gonna dual boot(actually it will end up triple boot) win7 full and stripped, and easy peasy!!

that way i can boot straight into rsw's software it should boot in about 10 seconds on my netbook!!!!

i stands for the idiots who buy the things. Now there is a product that is vastly overpriced, makes BBS stuff look low cost by comparison. They are a fashionable fad for brain dead kids with nothing better to do:rolleyes:

iphones are wonderful!! youve been living in froggy land too much u miserable old fart!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D

You are lucky enough to be young enough to classed as a kid, not brain dead though:D

Vastly overpriced? I think I would struggle to make one myself for a couple of hundred quid. :D

It's difficult to argue for carrying around a PC in case your suspension packs up versus a mobile. Unless one has a valet? ;)

As a one off maybe, but I bet the parts cost is not much more than £50 where they are made in China.

Or a BBS Faultmate Extreme:D

And what does it do when a bag bursts or the compressor packs it in. Can you press a button and put a patch on and can it fit a piston seal?:p:p:p

Bags don't burst if you replace them before they are life expired and if the system is well maintained the compressor won't pack in either as you well know, but I believe it can reset an EAS fault without the need for a computer of any sort:p:p:p:p No personal knowledge of that, only what I have read, I use the RSW software for EAS:D

Exactly if things are maintained correctly you should not need to carry stuff around in your car. People who have continualy re-occuring faults and just clear them only have themselves to blame when something goes really tits up. I have the FCR but i don't carry it around. Maybe me just saying that has tempted fate.:D:D

I'm actually writing this post on me iPhone, it's awsome can access anything any where (sat having a dump rite now!) with great ease and speed :D

Cant beat a laptop, but when I'm miles from home the iPhone is second to none ;)

Hope you are not holding it near your scrotum as you type, it has one of the worst rf emmission levels of any device on the market, might be enough to microwave your bollocks:eek: Add to that it has a reputation for dropping calls, still brand junkies will love it regardless:rolleyes:
