Long things in a 300tdi disco (gutters, beams, etc)

So I'd filled out the ticket at Screwfix yesterday, and then had to ask the cashier to remove the 2.5m length of gutter downpipe as I didn't want to drive home with the window open.

But I'm not sure if have had to. Passenger footwell to opposite rear corner with a bit of bend, and I reckon it would have fitted. 5 door 300tdi.

What do you think?

I'm probably going to need a trailer for the oak beam though, right?

If you have a sunroof, stick it through that, on a dry day! Only good use for a sun roof in my opinion!

Whoops, missed that it was a D1. Absolutely, use them roof bars, they're grate!!!
My stoopid D2 has roof rails but no bars. But sunroofs. So I can do what I just said but no use if I want to take a door home, which I COULD do with my D1 on the roof. But then that's progress!
