whats going to happen ? a halfshaft slips out of the diff end ?
down side they have a tendancy to shear off when they are being undone at a later date

would be interesting to have it happen at 70mph on the motorway......you only need a blob not coat it in it......(it also acts as a thread sealant and inhibits rust)

true, would say the nearside would be liable to of coming adrift (offside would be more likely to tighten up than undo)

they are usually encapsulated and often have enough left to secure bolt but i allways loctite all bolts that cant be seen from outside,

bolts we are talking about are showing (unless you have alloy wheels with center caps on )
