you will prolly find the alarm wasnt set when it beeped, the beep is there to tell you a window or door is open, try it by not fully closing a door and then double click the lock button!

im going through the same thing mine dont beep unless you press the horn i just gave up

Shouldn't beep but indicators should flash (once I think).
