locking diesel cap

Hi all,I have a 1984 defender 90 and i am looking for a locking diesel cap is there any one that makes them

Also i am looking for a set of new door hinges its the inner ones if that makes any sence to any one

Hi Dale,
Scrapyard or ebay are your best bet for a fuel cap.
If you're talking about the bar between the door and the a-frame, that''ll be a dealer unless you can find one at a scrappy. The external hinges are on ebay.

Is it a 2 lug fuel cap? If so there are plenty on ebay.

The cap changed in '86 and ran to 98. If you PM me have your chassis number (two letters and first six digits) I can look it up. It's one of three.

RTC4741 Grey 2 lug non-vented with key
STC4072 Black 2 lug vent & key

Best to go with the black vented one, unless you have a vented tank. If your filler cap has two lugs try this in ebay: 280258476817 It looks right.
