Hi there!

Does any one know by looking at my pic attached whether or not my landy has 'air lockers' ?

I have a vacuum diff lock system fitted to my lt95 box, but is this standard to that gear/transfer box or.....? The black knob on the left of the pic engages the diff lock once pulled up!

Hope the pic helps!

Cheers, Scott

That just looks to be exactly as you described: an air actuated centre diff lock.

Basically the same as standard, only using air rather than a mechanical linkage to activate it.

Air lockers that you are talking about lock the axle differentials, so you may do, but that picture won't help anyone tell you...

If you do, they're probably ARB and there'll be switches in your cab somewhere...

Alternatively, have a look at the diffs.

Cheers greenbob i kinda thought it was too good to be true!

It just came with the landy! Iv had three defenders now and it got to admit with this kinda diff lock iv found it to be much more capable, even the other guys i go off road with (who thought they were 'proper' lockers) have said it goes where theirs dont ha!!

Anyway thats cleared that one up, Cheers guys

LOL it probably looses vacume and unlocks lol.

No difference to standard one matey might be yuo hae much better tyres on this lastest mota the center difflock differences will make No difference if indeed they all worked when you tried them. As said they either lok or don't lock.
