Hi

Not sure if anyone is interested but I thought I would show how the back of my defender has come along since I bought her last September.

It has taken a lot of hard graft but worth it and I am quite chuffed as its my first attempt. :D

All in all it has cost me roughly £150

If anyone else has a before and after shot of their load space area I would be most interested so I can maybe improve on mine further.

Cheers
Jase

Thanks Station House, I am over the moon, my fingers are throbbing and cut to bits lol... well worth it but very hard to get it all in as I had to build it outside and varnish it first ..

Trouble is I want to add more!!! . . Will us Defender boys ever stop tinkering? lol

Thanks one and all....great comment.
As for the hinges, I tried every which way to get them sodding things on the inside and I will be chuffed if I could get them to work that way...sigh.... still it gives me a great excuse to redesign and try again :O)

only banter mate .. its just the job, clean and tidy ...:)

No 1-Spin, you are right, I really wanted them hinges on the inside and it just got to me in the end and ....well....yes.... you guessed it....they just got drilled plain and simple lol..... no messing :)

The only problem I can see is that your now going to require coasters when you put your brew down on top of it....yah poofter;):D:D:D:D:D

looking good:)

Now that made me laugh Sirus..... Coasters.... Naaaa can't be arsed with that! besides it looks tidy as I have just completed it today.... when all the normal rubbish gets chucked back in for a trip off road / show / camping it will look like normal lol lol

All I need to do now is find a single inward facing seat for my lad and try fitting it myself! should be fun
