On the same subject, following the same advice from elsewhere and not wanting to fit new bushes, raius arms etc etc I've just fitted a 2" lift kit (just Britpart springs & shockers)... but it now looks a helluva lot more than 2" to me though (my wife says I've always had a tendency to overestimate how long an inch is... can't think what she's on about...). Anyway, I've put some before and after pics on my album on this site - not sure how to link you to it but its Terra Ero and the path is: Home » Member » Terra Ero » "It'll only cost a few quid"

I'm wondeirng if it just looks a lot more because the old ones were maybe worn and lower than new, so the difference IS more than 2", but is only 2" compared to new... or if I've been sent the wrong kit! It seems a LOt higher as you can see. therenoticeable improved visibility though (although of course it was pretty good to start with) and I've had some miffed looks already from drivers of Japanese hairdressers cars! - Worht it for that alone! :)

ah think yer wife is right!

yer wheel is 16" and wiff a quick look the difference seems to be about an 1/8 of the wheel dia.. if i could be arsed i'd get a ruler and measure it but i can't
