but its true we cant even defend our self any more. worst thing is the CID come over an asked "are you sure it was a real gun" they weren't taking it serious at all. so at what point dose it become a real gun to them?... after the trigger has been pulled of course and me with a hole in me :S they even asked me what shape the barrel was!!

But seriously I do know of someone who reported a little **** in their garage and told the 999 busy that he had something shiny in his hand, only to be told that she could be prosecuted for wasting police time so she should be sure.
