Yeah, mine is too. Pretty sure the only way to remove it is to remove the sunroof first.

I just leave mine slid back now so I don't notice it! (but it still looks crap ).

Same problem, checked with local garage, their not sure. There is a trim all the way round but that's to keep the roof liner in place. Maybe some one has fixed the same problem.

I to have the sun shade lining problem. I read somewhere that it is possible to remove the shade without taking down the headlining. You 1st need to remove the glass then thieve spring clips. It is almost certain that vat least one of the clips will break, so advisable to have some replacements to hand. You will also need to remove one arm that holds the glass, dosent matter which side. Then it is allegedly possible to remove the shade upwards through the hole in the roof.

I have not been brave enough to attempt as yet!

It depends on the model as to whether you can get to it without removing the whole head liner. Tilt open you sun roof and the black plastic trim hanging down from each side of the glass should slide backwards and come off. Then it is a matter of a couple of screws either side and the glass should come out. You will find a couple of screws holding the tracks either side. Undo them and the tracks will slide sideways and you should get the slide part of the liner out. It is covered in the RAVE CD.
