As title, spotted a green Lightweight driving out of Hambridge Road towards the A4 x-roads this afternoon @ ~15.20. Anyone from LZ?

The Lightweight looked in fine condition...and not often seen on roads these days

But did they wave back?

No, was in the Forester  But just returned from an overnight in Albourne. Had seven "hi" waves from other Defender drivers yesterday + one cheerful fellow who pulled up behind me at the local petrol station in his beefed up 90 300tdi with heavily used oversized BFG's and a side exiting straight through exhaust. He followed me for a while down to M4/J13, the exhaust noise was louder than my engine!o_O

And the villagers let you out…
How was the blue boar?
Bet you spotted all the byways down the road though?

They did, only as have relatives in the village but still needed Passport to leave morning. Didn't visit Blue Boar, was fed roast lamb supper and watered with red Languedoc by relatives. Yes to byways and was sorely tempted to use some of these as M4 was closed with much traffic re-routing using A4 Newbury to Hungerford. Happily sat in slow traffic admiring the over the hedgerow field views and listening to the rhythmic clack-clack-clack-clack of the tdi
