Hi all on my defender the stalk for switching headlights on is a bit dodgy if you push it slowly you get dash lights but if you push it to the position it's ment to be you don't get any dash ligh would this'd be wiring or a new stalk required also the switch for the interior ligh has another position whats this for cheers every one

stalk switches are dodgy at times id replace it

Iv had this happen a few times on my old disco. First i just got away with switch cleaner and cleaned the switch on the stalk and the plugs on the back and this worked for a bit. But i did end up replacing it in the end as it happened too often.
