hi all on the front of my hippo i have some safari 5000 spot lights (genuine land rover) due to land rover excellent build quality the lenses have gone very rusty and crusty apart from buying more is there anything i can do to them to bring them back up to scratch cheers all

Do you mean the glass has got rust stains etc or the grills?, if lenses I'd try the dishwasher first it can work wonders, and you can buy glass Polish paste I'd imagine that would work, could try brick acid that eats through almost anything and won't touch the glass

no fella glass is fine apart from fogging up .just re read my thread what i ment to say is that the chrome bits inside the caseing are:eek: rusting away

Ah OK, maybe a brasso Polish will sort them out depends how bad they are, you can buy chrome paint if all else fails but it's a bit more shiny silver than chrome in my experience

Maybe a pic would help..
