Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has the rear light guard drilling template and would be willing to e mail me a copy?

Many thanks

AJO

Mine were stuck on with sticky foam from new (I have the original sales invoice) by the Land Rover dealer.

Fifteen years later, when I first got the car, I took them off and can confirm that they were definitely not going to fall off - a couple of the light guards had been damaged, but this had done nothing to make the brackets any less securely attached to the bodywork.

If the foam's decent quality, I doubt very much you'll have any problems...

Much safer to use the sticky foam. Over the years a few manufacturers have produced light guards so it's difficult to be certain that a template that you might get will be precisely what you need.

I don't want to risk one falling off...then its a whole new set. I don't trust sticky tape.. I have a rivnut tool and new cage bolts so want to do it properly!

Thanks anyway!

manufacturers use sticky foam to stick badges on all the time, and is what landrover used to stick there light guards on. ant u just offer up the brackets and mark some holes?

Thanks Len,

Just done it... I used the holes as templates and it was fine. I borrowed a rivnit tool and put them back ok.

Thanks

Ant
