Evening everybody, I have gone through 2 x 50 inch light bars on my 110 and both have let water in and gradually failed. The second only lasted a couple of months. However, I’d rather have one than not. I prefer or think I prefer the light bar to spot lights on the roof because the bar fits the silhouette of the Land Rover, know what I mean?
So questions, I’m wondering, have any of you dowsed their light bar in darothene and sealed it to repel water.
Also, what brand do you own and how long have you had it? Cheers, ta.

I had to look Darathene up
I think the consensus is most of these are cheap Chinese shite. The trick is trying to find the best made best value cheap Chinese shite. Unless you want to spend stupid money.

I've had 2 Chinese light bars for a few years without an issue, definitely no water ingress.
Get them from a reputable supplier, that offers a decent warranty, then you can return a faulty one. ;)
