light bar

i am after a light bar that mounts below the roofline of my defender, so the spots dont get pulled off by trees etc. anyone know of anywhere i can get one? tried the usual, john craddock, mm-4x4 paddock spares but all they have are the ones that mount on top of the roof. wanted one where the light mount at windscreen level if you get me? preferably a clamp on design too but not essential.

On mine the lights can be taken off and mounted on top or underneath the bar so your choice. Not sure of the make as it was already on my 90 but I would think that most would be adaptable like this.

^^^^^ wot he said. The bars themselves are usually no higher than the roof itself - so if you mount the lights below the bar, nothing will stick up higher than the vehicle.

cheers buddy, where did you get your second (new) light bar from? looks far more sturdy than the ones i have seen

douglas motors in poole,they do p+p aswell

it was well strong and sat nice and low and tight to the window line
