Light bar wiring with very technical drawings!!!

Right, don't know a lot about auto electrics but I want to attempt to wire in my light bar by myself. After looking through some diagrams and guides etc I've come up with this:

Couple of questions are:

What size fuse do I need?
What size cable do I use?
Is that diagram correct as a guide?
What do you think of my sketchpad skills?
And where can I get all the materials from? Maplins?

I was planning on running the cables up the side of the snorkel and cable tying them to the light bar itself externally is that ok?
Finally, do I need to take four separate wires up the snorkel and to each lamp separately or is there a way of taking just one?
There are four spotlights and each are 55w.
 
20-25 amp fuse
27amp cable as its a common rating
Diagram is amazing!!! I'd probably run the switched feed from your main beam supply with a switch in the cab to turn them off when you don't want them on with your beams. Use the switch in the cab to switch the earth, easier and safer. You could run one 27amp cable upto the light bar and from that 4 lots of 5-7amp cable for each light. ( 55w / 12 = 4.6amp )
Maplins is easiest bet.
 
I've decided not to do this job myself as auto spark only wants 60 notes to do the job incl supplying materials and I've got more than enough on my plate for now, so anyways he's asked how I want it done and he's suggested to wire it so that they come on with full beam but also put a switch so I can turn them off so they don't come on with full beam 'if ya get me'. Can anyone tell me if this is the best way or is there a reason why I should get them wired to a switch only or any other suggestions. Thanks
 
Fit a two way switch. You want them to be able to come on with high beam, to be on independent, or off altogether.

High beam for that super cool flash at the T junction :)

Independent on so you can turn your headlights off and roof lights on for deep wading :)

Off altogether for road driving on high beams without the roof lights which ruin contrast :)

Ahhh, good thinking batman! Of course! I never thought about wading with the headlights off. And you can get a two way switch to do all this? I shall mention it to him sharpish as he's wiring them in on monday. Thanks mr noisy.
 
Yeah easy to find mate, centre common - that needs to go to the feed to your relay, then one side of the switch to permanent live (pick it up at the relay to keep all the supply on the same fuse) so you can switch the lights independent anytime and the other side of the switch to the high beam feed at the column stalks.

Can get the switch from Halfords if nowhere else...
 
that's how i had mine connected.

3 way switch. on all the time / on with main beam / off

you can get all the necessary power from the back of the fuse box, that's where you'll get the feed for on with main beam and always on
