Hey all, hope you all good

I'm thinking of lifting my disco 1, how hard is it and what does it roughly cost

Depends...... How long is a piece of string? :D

How high do you want to lift it?
What's you budget?

As for how easy I'd say it's one of the easiest things to do on a landy.

Anything around the 2" mark you can get away with just changing springs and shocks and if on a budget could probably do this for around £200

Anything above 2" you will probably want to start saving..... As you could easily spend over £1k

Personally i wouldn't bother! :p :D

Just fit an air locking diff instead! You'll go much further than a disco without one with fancy lifted suspension ;)

Anyway this is just my opinion of course. And please do a search, this subject has been done to death. I'll start you off though as I'm feeling nice today. :)

Mine is lifted 4" in total with 2" suspension and then 2" spacer blocks. I reckon its cost me £1.5k, whereas just 2" would've cost a fraction of that. Also as its a 300 you have if you go more than 2" then you'll also need to start thinking about the rear rubber doughnut.
