Does anyone have any idea if and where it is possible to get spare keys, or banks for cutting, for the early lift up handle front doors.
The replacement pair of barrels and two keys is code MUC4146 so the keys must still be made somewhere.
These barrel kits aren’t a vast amount but I can’t be arsed stripping the doors down if I can just get a spare key cut to my original?

Your local key cutting fellas would surely sort this (e.g Timpson) As long as you have an original to copy….

No they don’t seam to have the blanks, and from what I can see advertised on internet there’s plenty of ignition blanks but no sign of these old style door key blanks.
They’re different shap to the back door keys and the old series keys annoyingly.

If you look for Austin mini, triumph, morris on ebay the key blanks are the same cost about 4 quid each
then what ever they cost to get cut, key & barrel for your doors are a fiver each.

They don’t seam to be the same profile, but thanks anyway.Got a barrel key set, so yes I guess I’ll just get on a strip the doors, simple enough I suppose.
