Lift pump connectors

I'm fitting a 200tdi in to a Series 3. I need to find a way of fitting the rubber diesel lines to the lift pump. Does anybody know what sort of connection I need to be able to do this?


I'm thinking along the lines of something like this...

PCL AIR LINE 1/4 BSPT MALE HOSE CONNECTOR ADAPTOR on eBay (end time 10-Jul-10 14:22:26 BST)

But need to be sure of the thread size first.

The thread in the Tdi lift pump are the same as those on a 2.25 diesel or petrol engine. The fittings off your old fuel lines will fit.

If the Series was a petrol then just get the return pipe (complete) from a Discovery and plumb that in. I recently used the return pipe and part of the return assemble from a Discovery Tdi fuel tank on a Series that was going from petrol to Tdi.

What happen if you've no longer got the petrol engine
