Lidl roof rails

thinking about some roof bars for my 54 plate freebie and see Lidl have some for £25+.
the pack says they only fit what i presume to be the pre face lift models.

is there any difference between the roof bars on these models?

5 doors.

The roof rails are the same on all FL1s. (5 door models anyway)

I transferred my bars from a 2002 to a 2004 facelift without any adjustment needed.

Are these being sold specifically for the freelander?
If not are they not just universal??

I've got some for our VW Tiguan. They need an Allen key to tighten the rail clamps which is a fiddle but once on they are good and secure. I prefer the LR bars though!!

they are universal but the packaging only included freelanders up to 2001 (i think) so to the layman...i.e me, i presummed there was a difference in the models.
