Hi there folks, im collecting parts to convert my 110 to a LHD. all i need now is the two brackets that bolt through the steering box & chassis & the bare hub assembly with the steering arm thats cast into it, that the drag link attaches to. Iv'e tried various Ex MOD suppliers & ebay etc, but no joy!! Anybody able to help??

Hello there sorry cant help ya on the part, but how easy has the project been?
Ive been thinking of doing this as landrovers are serious money over here and im desperate to get a little project going , possibly this summmer.
If you got some piccies of the stages of the conversion i would be really interested, in seeing them.
And also if i do get Project LHD underway, would it be ok to ask for advice if i got in the ****e...

yes, the swivel housing. the RHD one has no steering arm cast into it. The brackets i mentioned bolt to the chassis & steering box & provide a mounting point for the panhard rod.

Hi there, the biggest part of the conversion, is to convert the bulkhead/dash. the 110 has no provision for fitting the pedal box, you have to measure up & cut/drill the holes needed to fit everything. My dash wont be such a challenge as im making a one off item. the rest is fairly staight forward, unbolt the old stuff & bolt the new parts to the other side. All the holes are on the chassis already. the electrical wires will need to be shortened/lengthened as req. Im making my own engine bay loom, as i now have V8power instead of 2.5TD. It's a lot of work, but will be worth it. Can send you some photo's later on, im offshore at the moment. If you get stuck, just shout....
