Found some lever on the bulkhead that works the throttle wots that all about then.

wud that be the hand throttle then?

Down souf I believe they used series landys to drive farm machines and you could walk behind your landy whilst it was doing whatever, a one man job.
Also good for driving a saw or whatever

if it is then you would not see were you were going its down under the dash on the nearside on a ratchet but could be if so wots the point of it

yeah its the hand throttle, mine have them, yer can use it to adjust the tick over of the engine or if yer running a PTO for a saw or log splitter in high tickover, to save you holding the pedal down its more even running too, or like i have , stick it in low box, get out and walk down the side of it when yer in the middle if no where, in effect its a tractor, use it as its intended

Yes see your point i messed round with it and now it wont tick over will look in the morning and addjust it.
