Hi All
Apologies if this has been asked before. Maybe someone could point me to the correct thread if so?

I fitted my 1996 defender 300tdi with new LED lights. Just brake lights and indicators only, not headlights.

The brake and rear light combo ones were fine, but the indicators didnt work. I bodged in an ordinary light in series with each circuit and it fixed it.
I noted that fitting the series normal light to the right hand side circuit fixed the left hand indicators and vice versa.

So all my lights are working. BUT, now my trailer electrics via the coupling dont work at all, for any lights.

I think i need to put in load resistors, but im not sure where to start.

There was a new flasher unit in the kit with a variable dial to adjust to apparently fix the trailer thing, but turning it one way or the other only seems to make the trailer light on the dash come on or off when indicating. Doesnt do anything to the trailer lights themselves.
Any ideas anyone?
Many thanks
James

Sorry, ill re-post on an appropriate thread. Please delete this one.
read my build thread, its nothing to do with resistors you need a LED compatable flasher relay.
your one has a trimmer so yoiu turn until trailer lights begin to flash, sorted. HOWEVER not all LED relays are the same where you buy it? I cover a full LED conversion in the build ..
