hi anyone upgraded to led bulbs to there interior lights done my interior light tonight makes a big difference

Yup, they're brilliant - in both senses of the word. :D

I've got clear ones in the map-lights and a red one in the centre which is operated by the doors.

Nice and cheap on eBay - had them for over a year now - no problem in leaving the centre light on for a while as it's much cooler now.

yes they are want to fit one in the boot but not sure which sort i need as it is not a festoon type bulb its a baynot type fit bulb 10w

I did inside and out :D

Hello all! Does anyone know what bulb the heater controls take? Rover has it as JWH100080 & looks like this Britcar (UK) Ltd > JWH100080 BULB HEATER CONTROLS F/L 1A> (G) .... My dealer here local wants $29 U.S. Dollars for ONE!!!... I need all 3 as mine are all blown and that is more than a days pay for me!..... I have tried to search for similar bulb & found T5 bulbs to look the same, can anyone say for certain??? LED's would be just fine as well!

'ere you go:

Car 9 LED 31mm C5W Interior Festoon Bulb Xenon WHITE UK 4 6 8 | eBay

The 9 LEDs are betterrerer. There is a huge range of colours and LED combos.

I've got a red one in the front and a white one in the back.

Important you check the actual length of your original festoon type, as LR used at least 2 different lengths/sizes.

Yo!

I went one better and fitted LED panels into the interior lights in my Rangie. They come with connectors to fit a festoon or capless but I found these a bit fragile and did a little soldering instead. Then I glued the panel into the fitting. Now when I press the remote the whole car lights up, even through the tinted windows. I just measured the space that I had inside each fitting and bought the panels that would fit in, ebay, couple of quid each.

As these are flat and can be stuck straight onto a panel, with the wire fed through a hole hidden by the panel, you can then add extra lighting in the boot space, in the front footwells, under the dash, under seats, under the bonnet etc. etc.

:D

Great idea, but .....

There are millions of LED bits on eBay - can you give us a link to a couple of examples so's I know better exactly what you mean, please?

Sorry mate, no use with links etc. but if you search for 'SMD LED PANEL' in 'vehicle parts and accessories' then you'll find what I used. Anything from 9 to 48 LED's and different colours.

:D
