Leather seats from an 81 in to 95????

Hi all,
Just found a full set of leather seats and matching door cards on an 81 classic, Does anyone know if they will fit in a 95 soft dash, or has anyone tried it.
Im an electrician to trade so i can get round the electrics its just a physical size, runners question.

Think the seats are the same dont know about door cards though.Was the 81 a five door?

1981 seats in to a 1995 softdash could be a bit tricky, if I remember correctly the seat bases are totally different so some modification would be needed, the dooor cards are totally different so wouldnt fit, 81 had large wood panels that were not part of the door card but lay over the top part of the card covering the upper 3 inches or so. It would be easier to look for a leather interior complete with cards from a late classic as these should fit with no problems, although the seats will probably be electric so will need to be wired in.

Turns out its an 83, and yes it is a 5 door,

The door cards only have a thin strip of wood allong the top and look pretty similar, wil find out this week when i go back to have another look.

the door cards you describe were not fitted to the classic until around 1987/8 so if they are indeed fitted to an 83 model, it would imply that they havent changed much as far as fixings go. Your 95 model will be the last of the classics so should have the soft dash, not sure what changes were made to the door cards as the interior had a major revamp at that time.

Went back last night for a look (under the cover of darkness) and there is just a space in the grass where my leather claded RR used to be and after a bit of poking about its in a garage with all doors open a n a couple of heaters round it, Wasnt damp when i had the first look??

Turns out hes got another 6 RR's ranging fron 89G to 2 door's with no number plates.

I take it the vehicle in question is being scrapped and you are just taking the interior out of it? If so, at least they are drying the inside out, most places would just leave it outside and you take what you get
