Shortly after I bought my 04 Disco 2 (last June) I noticed a water stain on the roofliner just above the top right hand corner of the windscreen.
A few times over the summer/autumn it has been damp in the same spot and seems to have spread backwards over the top of the drivers door to round about the grab handle.
I haven't really thought about it much until it snowed a couple of days ago. I got in it yesterday and noticed it was really quite wet (dripped when I ran my finger over it) I guess this is because the snow has been sitting on my roof thawing rather that it just being rain that has been running of the roof.
Anyway to get to my point what can I do about it. I did have it in at a LR garage last summer (unrelated) and mentioned it at the time. They said it could either be a leaky sunroof or windscreen. I pointed out I don't have a sunroof and as they had had it for 3 days at this point and failed to notice this I don't feel inclined to take it back to them to get it sorted out.
I can't see any obvious signs of rust so does the windscreen need resealing? Can Autoglass or someone similar do this?
I am not mechanically minded so would need to arrange for someone to do this for me but I don't know who.
