Leaking stub axel??

Is it a MOT failure??

if you mean oil leaking from the halfshaft oil seal then yes if its bad as leaks onto brakes.

if its just a slight weep, it might just be an advisory. I had one on my old 3.5EFi that was weepy from the swivel

Just wipe it clean round the corner from the test centre. They usually check the underneath after they have done the electrical checks, lights, wipers etc,. followed by the Tapley brake check on the road and finally the emmissions. As the axle end is a fair bit away from the brake disc, if they pick it up I think you will get an advisory.
