Lazy Entry given up the ghost

i have a 2009 RR Sport

We have always had lazy entry on and until recently it has worked without problem. However, a few days ago I noticed it had stopped working.

The electric seat controls still work fine, as do the memory settings, so it's no real biggie but it would be nice to have lazy entry working too.

I can't find a specific fuse for it so wondered if the system can be reset in some way or if this is a common fault with a simple solution?

Best to get it on diagnostics and see if the setting has been changed...

There will be no fuse to check as the system is supplied via the seat memory ECU...so if that works, the lazy seat option must have been turned off.

Sometimes when the battery gets low in the car, the low voltages can cause spurious odd behaviours and cause ECUs to loose their settings!

Also I hate to point newbies to other forums, but in the spirit of helpfulness try www.rrsport.co.uk they may know more.

ay up alan you still up ,,,,im back from the greek isles , and only got laptop back 3 hours ago ,,,have I missed much ???? suppose wammy in bed now wiv his cocoa ,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haven't half missed my cake ?????????? .will bell u tomorrow ,,,cheers mozz
