Laptop Repairs Stafford Area

Reet...ive got a fujitsu siemens Amilo Pro Laptop thats a bit broke..it has to have pressure applied to the back for it to work..sort of as if theres a bad connection which needs the back to be squeezed.

Its my nieces laptop and she rests it on a pencil at the moment but thats just not a long term solution! It keeps just turning off in the middle of her work.

Can anyone recommend a pc repair place near stafford...most on google are £40 an hour + Vat and thats just not viable...may as well get a new laptop...but that would be a shame if its an easy fix.

Sounds like a dry joint there somewhere bud , Id save your cash and have a look at it yourself .
Just save all her work onto a mem stick just in case and take it apart , look on youtube for how to take one apart without busting plastic clips off ) .
Ive repaired a lappy and lcd display by doing this .
