There was so much grief getting people to pay the 1st time I dough't there will be a 2nd run.

I can understand that selling merchandise that way would be a lot of hassle. That's why it's often best to let other companies do the work for you.

A company I work for use Cafepress (Custom T-Shirts, Unique Gifts, Posters, & Personalized Mugs | CafePress United Kingdom) to sell and distribute merchandise related to the website.

Such items include:

- Stickers
- Mugs/cups
- T-Shirts

Along with many other items. Basically, all the site staff have to do is upload a design to Cafepress (a logo or whatever) and Cafepress apply it to your items of choice. The items can be sold on their website, and the site owner of Landyzone would then earn commission for each sale.

Who can I suggest this idea to? I am willing to bet that it will go unnoticed in this thread, even though it's probably something many would be interested in.

Yeah but to be fair, they do 90% of the work.

- Postage and distribution
- Wholesale purchasing
- Application of designs

At the end of the day, some extra revenue for Landyzone is better than none. Plus, we would all be provided with an extra service. Not to mention the fact that the use of stickers etc would help promote the site.

So yeah, even though Cafepress would receive most of the takings, it's still a win win situation for Landyzone.

i did them at £2.50 each i think inc postage, then donated the £20 profit to the forum, which weren't alot off 100 stickers!

I dunno, Rich's idea, it might work - from what I can tell, an individual 10" x 3" sticker from that company is approx £4, but when you increase your order up to 50 for example, the price drops to £2.26 each. So if we did another run of 100 (I am willing to do another design) the price could be even cheaper than Fossy did it in the first run. All's we need is a vote of confidence from the people, and see if we have enough to make an order possible. I dunno about you guys, but I definitely need some more stickers, I sold my other car with the LZ ones on

I make promo merchandise for a living. I'll sell you the stuff at cost, more people who order, cheaper the stuff. Stickers, keyrings, tshirts, hoodies, whatever you want. Whoever is organising the stuff just pm me.

Now we're getting somewhere

What sort of price would we be looking at? From memory the last batch of stickers we made were about 2" x 8", full colour.

i wouldnt mind a look at the actual design

Err, well I did the 'design' for the last batch, still have it on my Photobucket - I'd wanna check with everyone that it's still what they want before we make any of them. If it's not I'll knock another one up in Photoshop. I think some people just want a simple black text on white background "www.landyzone.co.uk", but we need another new, fresh poll really.
